China rejected the conspiracy theories regarding the coronavirus spread from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Yuan Zhiming, The director of a maximum-security laboratory in China's stated that It "impossible" that it could be the source of the coronavirus outbreak. "there's no way this virus came from us".

Yuan rejected the Reports of Washington Post and Fox News those claim quoted anonymous sources who claim that the virus could be leaked from the facility by accident. Yuan said the reports had been "entirely based on speculation" with out "proof or data" and a few media outlets are "intentionally attempting to mislead people".

The director said in response of the US probing whether the virus actually originated in a virology institute with a high-security biosafety laboratory.

The director further added that None of LAB employees had been infected, "entire institute is carrying out research in several areas associated to the coronavirus". He told the state broadcaster CGTN. The Chinese scientists claim that the coronavirus most likely passed from bats to humans from market that sold wildlife in Wuhan. 

Wuhan Institute of Virology already dismissed the theory in February, saying it had shared details about the pathogen with the WHO in early January.

The news brought into the notice when the USA has brought the rumors into the mainstream this week , when Secretary of State Mike Pompeo saying US officials are doing a "full investigation" into how the virus "got out into the world".

The existence of the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab is cause of generation of conspiracy theories that the germ spread from the facility. The institute has the largest virus bank of Asia which preserves more than 1,500 Virus Culture Collection, according to its website.

Authorities in Wuhan initially tried to cover up the COVID-19 outbreak however now the authorities Wuhan city admitted errors in counting its loss of life toll and abruptly raised the figure by 50 %.
